Shot with Nikon EM, a camera passed down by my uncle. Google on it and heres what i found; Nikon EM was introduced in 1979. It was the first model in a revised design concept by Nikon to introduce a series of ultra compact bodies characterized by compactness, light weight, easy to use, yet still possesses some quality as other Nikon bodies.

Surprised that the body is still in good condition. Shot in the busy street of Chinatown with kliqueimages using the Ilford delta 3200 film. Only exposure adjustment was done and cropping ratio of 16 by 9.

For the little history, this house was first built in 1854,
and was known as "Tyersall House". In 1860, a Malay
sultan took over the property and the house was demolished.
The new house, Istana Woodneuk was built in 1890 and completed 2 years later.
In 1905, it was badly burnt because of faulty electrical
wiring. This house has been abandoned since 1907. Surrounded with cranes and piles of sands as for now.

They were my dad's friend, working at the country club itself. Dad was just roaming the whole course but didn't swing it and so, i managed to enter with him. Lucky for me i brought the camera along and they were friendly. Of course, it was a free entrance too as i am the residence there, a terrace nearby. It was my first time driving the buggy that day! haha.

Two lovely birds, Mohammad Zuhri and Siti Norsheila, marriage was solemnized at Jurong West st 65 today. This was my first time in doing wedding photography and i really find it a struggle to capture every single moment that happened. It was a wonderful opportunity though i wasn't the official photographer for this memorial event. The real cameraman seems nice. A canon user with 24-105mm and F1.5 lens if i remembered clearly. Here goes my entry for today. Nothing much but i do hope u watchers like it.

An exchange of gifts to the other pair, for the groom and for the bride.

The bride's father and the groom himself, Mohammad Zuhri. This is known as nikah. Everyone would be asked if they agree for this two birds to be together.

This is where the father will ask everyone if they agree. His smile just shows the answer.

And so, we prayed for this new pair of husband and wife to stay happily for now till the end.

The registration of marriage. Many signatures are to be signed, including witnesses for this ceremony, the bride and the groom too.

And the certificate itself. Would be a great capture if i manage to catch him smile.

One of many that i like the most for today. The chance to capture something like this again is very thin. Well, that's about it. Not very much for the first entry of wedding photography from fizophoto. I hope i would be able to do this again but i rather choose not working as a wedding photographer itself. Such a stress work to me, having those thoughts like, will the pictures be alright, would my customer be satisfied? Maybe it's not just the time yet. Many more to learn Fizo.

Workhouse, Nikon D60 with SB800 and a ring flash. Most pictures are captured in raw format, very little of jpeg. Had hard time in processing it. I wasn't prepared well for this ceremony. Forget to change most of the settings. Just wanted to try something different. Processing was done at adobe photoshop lightroom 1.4 and CS2. Maybe next time if this opportunity comes by, i would go for a prime lens instead of speedlight like today.

The one month fasting has finally come to an end. Today comes 'hari kemenangan islam', other words, the winning day of islam. The takbir cuts the air in the early morning to commemorate Hari raya and i believe that it touches many people's heart when hearing it.

After we have done our prayers, speech was given to make us realised how wonderful can today be. It is known as the khutbah. Same like what we have for our Friday prayers.

The first house that me and family visits to is as usual, Taman Jurong block 377C. It was my mum's family. This year was the first time to celebrate there as they have moved to a new place few months back. Above is a portrait of both my grandparents, ones that have been taking care of me since im still red.

Next family portraiture was for Mr Sukhaimi and his family. My mum's brother.

And Mrs Norzanah, mum's sister.

ketupat and longtong, sambal goreng and rendang is what we usually have for Syawal, to almost every house that we go to. Without this, Hari Raya wouldnt be complete. We then gathered after our meals to have a big family portrait. Unfortunately, Mr Suratin which is the eldest to all my uncles and aunties, wasn't there yet. I love the way the light is being formed in this picture. Ahh and i looked so serious in it. Anyway, this is the PICTURE OF THE DAY! like this the most for today.

Like i mentioned above about forgiving, that's what Hari raya is all about. So here is Mr Sukhaimi and my grandmother, Sarinah. Its normal if tears starts to form during this particular period.

We left that place around 11. It was dad's side next at West coast block 729. Same thing like every other year, as always and always, my family was the first to reach. Above, Mrs Zarah and her family. She's my dad's younger sister.

A big family portraiture again. Mrs Aisyah and family isn't in this picture. We had to leave early and couldnt afford to wait as to save time to visit other places. I feel that this year's celebration is not that into mood. Probably because many primary and secondary school students are having their exams and PSLE. That includes JC too i supposed. Many families have to do less visiting in conclusion. Lucky for me, school starts in two weeks time.

An exhausting day. My first time driving with my three other uncles on the road to quite a number of house. Im taking the steering wheel for dad as for now. Last but no least, Salam aidilfitri, maaf zahir dan batin ikhlas from Fizo and photos.

I went Johore Bahru this morning, the last day where we can get petrol from Malaysia. Comparing Malaysia and Surabaya, i think Surabaya's traffic is much more thrilling i must say. I had hard time driving their roads and behind, mum was like so worried. Absolutely no road courtesy from them. Well, travelling there was not because of petrol of course. I had to take photos of my dad's boss properties. The showroom of Taman Ponderosa. If you havent heard of it, i think its quite known for its golf course resort. There stood a huge house, the boss's husband's place. Very nice but i didnt have the opportunity to capture it. Dad's boss is a she anyway and i have to thank her alot after all the helps i received. Below is the image of what i had covered in the two storey terrace. A premier township developed by kuok group. Developed pictures will be viewed by her tomorrow and i hope she'll be pleasant with it. She is the president of Shangri la hotel organization by the way.
